Sublette County Sheriff K.C. Lehr has received more than 7,000 emails about a Wyoming man who reportedly captured and tormented a wolf before killing it, he told Cowboy State Daily on Wednesday.

Some of those are threats.

Lehr said people in his office, as well as Sublette County and Wyoming Game and Fish Department personnel, have been receiving threats — including death threats — stemming from Daniel, Wyoming, man Cody Roberts’ reported capture, torment and killing of a wild wolf in late February.

It concerns me how accepted and common that type of mindset seems to be in America right now.

I don’t think there are a whole lot of people that are okay with animal cruelty.

Cruelty to other people does seem okay with about 50% of people. Interesting, no?

Is it? I don’t know anyone who thinks it’s acceptable to torture an animal of any kind.

And because you know a handful of people who do it must be accepted by the majority?

And I didn’t say that none existed but here we are. Saying that it is accepted implies a majority agree though.
