The game’s been “complete” for several years at this point, and IIRC Skyrim Special Edition (the Skyrim version of what happened here) was both announced in advance and released as a separate game, so mods that weren’t getting updates could still function. In light of that, it seems reasonable for the developer to expect advance warning at least in the form of a press release prior to the update being made available. Should they have reached out every week asking whether Bethesda had any plans to update a 10-year-old game?

Yeah, but LCDs miss out on the ability to go greyscale to save even more power in emergencies. Due to the way LCD screens work, the same trick would likely increase the amount of power draw it incurs.

The battery life and black levels are always going to be better on an OLED, no matter what you do to the LCD. There’s no chance of backlight bleed on OLED screens, either.

Yeah but one of the reasons to pay for Tidal is the sound quality, and bluetooth sounds objectively worse than streaming directly on the car. Also, how am I supposed to maintain a wifi connection while moving? I’m not about to tether my phone every time I get in the car.

Just so you know, you can do Spotify and Tidal now with premium connectivity, too. Tidal is basically the only reason I have it, because the speakers are good enough for the sound quality difference to be noticeable. I agree with the rest of your points, though.
