The Fantastic Four are coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and they'll be led by Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) as Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic.
Really tired of seeing the same actors cast over and over and over. Pascal is talented, but does he have to be the Mandalorian and Last of Us guy and a Marvel superhero?
Not really. The point of voice acting is conveying emotions and situations of a character through speach. Just like in live action, you can have actors-chameleons and actors who are always the same and always good when cast appropriately.
I’ve been reading Guardians comics since before there was a Peter Quill. Yes, Pratt’s incarnation is more comedic, and his origin is quite different, but he’s very much an emotionally driven character in both. Obviously James Gunn took a far more comedic approach to the overall tone, but Pratt fits the tone of the director and the team in a way that works for the screen.
Fantastic Four (Johnny Storm)
TMNT (Casey Jones)
Fantastic Four Silver Surfer (Johnny Storm)
(Push) - Nick Gant (became a comic later)
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (Lucas Lee)
Captain America (Captain America)
Avengers (Captain America)
Snowpiercer (Curtis)
Thor: Dark World (Loki as Captain America)
Winter Soldier (Captain America)
Age of Ultron (Captain America)
Ant Man (Captain America)
Civil War (Captain America)
Spider-Man: Homecoming (Captain America)
Avengers: Infinity War (Captain America)
Captain Marvel (Captain America)
Avengers: Endgame (Captain America)
Free Guy (Chris Evans)
But yeah, that new timeline was supposed to happen. I think any timeline without a tyrannical Kang was considered fine. That’s why some variance was okay. Most of the Lokis were taken after they strayed too far, not at the moment of divergence.

Was Chris Pratt busy?
Say what you will about casting choices but Pedro is far more talented than Pratt
But, Pratt made a great Starlord.
Who?
Pratt is busy voicing all the cartoon characters now. So Mario and Garfield are going to sound suspiciously similar.

Ehhh, not to anyone paying attention to the comics before the guardians movies came out.
But that cna be said about most MCU characters / actors.

I mean, how many of those happened at the same time?
Most of them are his Marvel Character as well.
Ridiculous. They just refuse to cast anyone else as Captain America.
Well, at this point, they have written him out. Old Man Steve got to go make his date in the 40s and lived happily ever after.
Though how the TVA went after Loki and not Steve escapes me.
Still hoping Steve shows back up.

And the villain in Wonder Woman '84…
It’s especially silly because people aren’t going to avoid the movie if it’s got a ‘no name’ cast.
Yeah I wouldn’t mind him being a smaller hero, but he’s really busy already and that could affect Marvel stuff negatively.
