I’m just happy college football is back.
Halftime thoughts as a Knights fan: overall things look like I expected. Plumlee’s athleticism is insane but he still has problems with decision making. The skill players are impressive. The secondary and the OL worry me a bit. The OL is a lot of transfers and it’s very much a position group that requires meshing well so it could get better as the season goes on.
Luckily we have the first two games to knock off the rust and hopefully hit the rest of our schedule running.
Plumlee is nuts! But yeah, this game is a good one to mesh with.
I hope we’re not having to knock rust off for the Boise State game though. That’s going to be a hard game.
My bad, I thought the Villanova game was next. Yeah that does have me a little worried, it’s a far way to go. Hopefully this game is enough to get us going.
Feels weird seeing the Big XII logo on UCF’s field, but in a good way. Welcome to the P5, UCF! (Or P4 or whatever it’s going to be)

I’d been keeping an eye on the Nebraska-Minnesota and Florida-Utah games, so behold my surprise when I switch back to this and the lights are out and the stadium has turned into an impromptu rave
I was just about to write a comment about how good John Rhys Plumlee looks and then he turns the ball over. Gotta protect the rock better than that.
