I upgraded my PC and now I barely touch my steam deck. The money spent on it is still VERY worth it. Even if I never touched it again, I use it when traveling, I would still be unbelievably satisfied with my purchase.
On iPhone, maybe Android too, you click the power button 5 times and you have enter the pin.
Apple consistently has top tier processor, camera, and longevity. There’s ton I don’t like about their business practices but don’t act like they release garbage. My kids still use my old iPhone 8 Plus and it still works great. The Android devices I have from that timeframe are unusable by comparison.
Interesting, I’ll look into Gemini.
Do you use this? I’ve been thinking that there has to an underground “internet” that mimics the old web. I was thinking that it would be BBS or something. I haven’t gone down any rabbit hole yet because lemmy has been scratching the itch alright.
Yes, I’m going to look into doing just that.
I’ve found that Linux users will either bend over backwards trying to help or will call you an idiot for not knowing “basic” shit. Basic shit to them is something that is only known to 5000 people globally.
As a single user, the steam deck has been basically perfect. This is good info though when I’m talking it up to other people.
Genuinely a brilliant and moving game. Kim Kitsuragi is also my most loved character I’ve ever encountered in any media and it’s not even close.
There’s some decent arguments in here about how it is cheaper than it ever has been. But I can tell you that even though I make more money than I ever have in my life, I haven’t bought a brand new game in about 4 years because of how much it costs to just live now.
Go ahead and adjust games price to account for inflation, at least $90+, and see how many new games just flop. People will prioritize living over gaming. If suddenly people can only buy half as many games then you will see half the sales.
Some places have preemptively outlawed doing this.
I was paying for a year at a pop. After the price hike, I was going to cancel entirely. It just happened to coincide with the shitty Disney/hulu ad price. Which got my kids off my back for not having it and it’s only like 36 bucks for the year. If I feel inclined to watch something on those two then I watch on desktop and ad block the ads.
You’re correct
Also, could it be the weight with the box?
Y’all organizing at a local and national level? I have major major issues with the current system but unless there’s clear actionable things to do now, then all this post does is discourage change and voting against actual fascists.
I do get sub 1000 view recommendations from YouTube but I don’t know if I would assume those creators haven’t paid any money. You can pay to push your videos to a small, very targeted, audience for fairly cheap.
There’s still plenty of people doing that. But their uploads will be inconsistent when they upload and quality. The views will also be low so YouTube’s algorithm won’t recommend it unless they pay to advertise.
So setting the mouse high and changing the windows setting to low?
Is Putin stress eating?
