Same. I rally want a pirate freighter, but it took me sooo long to get the right Venerator… can’t just give it up for the new, shiny, awesome, totally-glistening-in-the-sun, brand new, hot shot, powerful, exclusive…
🥺
The latest patch seems to have fixed that:
Fixed an issue that caused the Bioluminescent Companion to fail to hatch from their egg. Players who have already hatched a non-viable egg should now see the companion in their collection, or can redeem another egg from the Expedition Rewards section of the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion kiosk.
You either spend your life really well or you have way too much time on your hands.
Either way I read your post with happy curiosity. 🙂
I love Vivaldi. Am sad it’s Chromium. Wish Firefox would take a page out of Vivaldi’s features book and innovation approach.
I can see where you’re coming from.
What bothers me somewhat is that with the right amount of cash every ship’s storage can be extended to the same maximum amount. How is it possible that my fighter can carry the same loads as my cargo hauler? What reason do I have to change ships?
Great ideas. I might just send that to HG. The now so that, the more chances we get to see that implemented.
Winner why we have such tight limits. Technical limitations, maybe? 🤷
But… then it’s just a regular dumpster fire.
Fair. Just that the selection of quality games is rather limited.
IMO monetisation is fine, after all we all need to earn a living. To goad people into spending money is the issue. Enter dark patterns.
A one-off purchase after testing the first level? Awesome! Wait a few hours - or days - for a building to finish? Watch a deceptive ad for a meager reward over and over? No, thanks.
Mastodon struggles a bit to pick up pace.
Found this:

It explains some pain points.
Agreed. Horrible news.
Hoping Syncthing-Fork will continue.
I just installed that on your recommendation.
Hoping for the best.
Here the link for anyone who wants to check it out.
Nice idea.
Does this run 24/7? How much traffic is generated so I don’t use up all my mobile data?
This sounds interesting. Something I’d give a shot. But the Github doesn’t have much to go by. Yet?
With a heading “We care about your privacy”.
🙄
Which search results or which queries could one show the average user to make that point?
I mean, I’m not a big fan of it either. On the other hand, I want Firefox to continue to grow and be actively developed and supported. If not from sources like these - to me unobtrusive - ads, where else can their revenue come from?
Not trying to be controversial. Just asking. What business opportunities would we support Mozilla in that we’d be happy with?
TIL that this is the successor of K9.
Awesome news! I hope.
Thanks for linking that community.
On top of you advice: IMO if the tap water is safe for drinking, use that and don’t buy bottled water at all. No need to add to the plastic problem. Also: it’s usually cheaper.
