Moulin Rogue, it’s been one-upped so hard in the movie-musical genre, but I saw it like 10 times in theaters (back when that wouldn’t require a second mortgage) and still love it.

As a former teacher of younger kids, that feature probably makes them 10x less likely to be forgotten/lost. (The size is “youth 10-”) Agree it’s kinda gross, but kids are wired differently.

Just wanted to second this. Learning to use a roux as a base saves me so much money and effort. A bit of butter(or any oil) and flour makes any creamy sauce/soup/stew you’d like. Add milk, broth, spices, garlic, cheese… The skies the limit and it’s a lot cheaper than cream or cream cheese, and I always have it in the house.
