I’ve been a linux user for maaaaany years but always dual booted to windows for gaming. Got a new pc recently and this time I ditched the windows partition. Gaming on linux has come a long way the last few years and will only get better. Feels good man.

Yeah it’s not just Microsoft. Fucking ads in my doorbell app, Google TV, etc.

Putting ads in a product you paid for should be illegal.

Apart from the fact that bubble 1 and 2 point to the wrong person.

Invidious and piped had issues with youtube blocking them, but the instances I use work fine again now. They even blocked my self hosted invidious instance which I use maybe once a day lol.

Luckily Piped, Invidious and others are still doing its thing.

Thanks. A lot of drama then. I’ve been in the discord and on github for a while and from that I can tell vaxry has a bit of a “personality”, as many good developers have. Nothing wrong with that. I like Hyprland a lot, I have been using it daily for 2 years or so and any bugs I reported got fixed really fast. In the end it is a solid project and that’s what really matters.

Let’s hope this thing blows over quickly.

My dad ran IBM OS/2 Warp for a while on our PC. Rock stable. Shame it never really took off.

It’s not a scam in the sense they are deliberately taking your money and not deliver anything in return. I am confident the people at CIG want to create something unique and amazing.

It is a very complex project though and you can argue about if it has been managed properly.

I check this game out once a year maybe, but there are lots of people playing this game daily and enjoying it even in its current alpha state.

I’m in my second Audi but it will be my last. This subscription shit should be boycotted.

Only 9 months? I lost many years to this game. Great fun playing with friends but once everyone quit it became such a grind.

Fuck Nvidia. I got myself a Shield so I could stream games from my pc to my livingroom and they just decided to pull that feature. Later they added ads to the home screen. These are things that can be worked around, but it’s just toxic practice in my opinion.

Never will I buy any Nvidia product again.

Crap. Just as I thought development started to pick up. I check this game out maybe once a year, it’s got great potential but it will probably never release in a playable state unfortunately.
