They greedy af. They’ve lobbied (bribed?) to keep the corp taxes as low as possible. Then they go Double Irish with Dutch Sandwich and NOT pay the low taxes anyways. If we were to tax them appropriately then it’d be a helluva lot more than 13b imo

I think Windows 11 was supposed to be that clean break. They’ve reimplemented a lot of core functionality compared to XP & 7. If they’re still getting breached then they obviously aren’t serious about security.
Microsoft focused on security at this point is like a builder focusing on building strong foundations now that the house is built on top.
It’s a little too late my dudes.
I think a lot of memes are missing the main point of how it was caught, the exploit caused a spike in CPU usage for a network call. That made no sense to the guy Messiah who found/reported it. FOSS software’s strength is the number of critical eyes looking over each line of code you put out!
Unpopular opinion: trains are not technically environmentally sustainable, but they are so much more efficient than cars & even buses that they might as well be.
You forget the enterprise usage for Windows. Even Incremental gain is huge. With x86 emulation it definitely is a huge threat for apple.
Though I am happy Apple did it first. Competition is great for consumers. We’d never have gotten a decent ARM PC if Apple didn’t rattle Microsoft’s cage.
Wow all those rumors Apple was making a car were true
Because it already knows everything personal about you from your google account, chrome browser, search history, emails & files, and even your keyboard. Gemini wants to guess, because it’s more exciting that way! 🤩 /s
Good point! No one brags about control because they care about those they control. Its the power they value.
To give them benefit of the doubt, maybe they meant that they were trusted to be factual. “We owned the news” could mean most people thought “I trust the WSJ so if they say so it must be true”. But now in the age of misinformation, no one can be trusted.
But all this was said at Davos, the literal comic con for billionaire assholes. Its more likely they were talking about a news monopoly, facts be damned.
Dammit! I wish there were a news owner who could tell me what to think! /s
Fixed & noted. Thanks!
