Can’t catch a break
Because my life isn’t as together as Pharrell Williams’s, and my movie has a soundtrack by Papa Roach and is entitled Cut My Life into Pieces.
That would be a mass killing (many murders in one session) not serial killings (many murders spread out over time).
If the discussion is good, what is the problem? Genuine question.
That and I didn’t want to buy solid oak furniture when I lived in apartments and had to move on a dime because the landlord wanted to jack up rent or pull something… Again.
$25, $15 without the cereal.
This is… Certainly something.
Oh man I thought I was just doing school wrong. A lot of my buddies with a leg up over me (parental help with college mostly) were able to get their 4 year degrees in 4-6 years.
I couldn’t afford that and went to community college. The advisors didn’t really know a lot, I came prepared and they couldn’t really answer my questions. I had a lot going on but I persisted. Then some of the transfer scholarships were no longer offered by the 4 year college I wanted to transfer to. (That tripled my cost right there.) And I had to fight them on how credits transferred. (Which would have cost me if I didn’t challenge them.) And they would only take a certain number of transferred credits. (Which again… Cost more money.)
I was still able to get my “4 year” degree it was an incredibly difficult process. It was worth it because it enabled me to get a six figure job.
I’m glad for this article because honestly I thought I was just… Really bad at making life decisions seeing how much easier it seemed my peers could get a degree. Sad though for the rest of my homies with limited support.
It is so frustrating. Especially when you did your research but the information is out of date. Widget2000 rev1 was fine but Widget2000 rev2 requires an account.
Or it doesn’t require an account but your options are “yes” or “ask again later.” So all of your searches say it’s fine. But if my experience is degraded for no good reason just because I don’t want an account, that is a weak win at best.
Welcome to Lemmy, glad you’re here. :)
I’m not sure, but I know that when a family member had to do a low FODMAP diet, they couldn’t eat things with onions in them. But onion infused oil was fine because the sugars in the onion were water soluble, but not fat soluble so the oil didn’t contain the component they were avoiding. https://www.monashfodmap.com/blog/all-about-onion-garlic-and-infused-oils-on-the-low-fodmap-diet/
Not sure it’s related but it’s the first thing I thought of.
I haven’t thought about this game in forever. My friend had this at her house. Thanks for sharing!
Why a snack and not a meal?
Just a minute.
Time to fight the cacademons.
I didn’t see any porn, but there were quite a few AI generated images. If that is something that you filter folks for as well, that is likely why they are filtered.
I can see this user’s comments. Do you perhaps have a filter on certain words, accounts, or instances in your Lemmy client?
Neat, thanks for sharing.
For instances like Rhode Island (5) and Florida (4), the map groups them in the same range, even though Florida is far larger than Rhode Island. I wonder how it would change the map to have the scales be determined by density, like waterfalls/km^2.
No. These are printed plastic advertisements delivered via the postal service. (Other companies might purchase small mini catalogs/coupon books, colorful envelopes, or eye-catching postcards for their mail-based advertisements.) These mailers are sent to many people. Most people refer to these mailers as “junk mail.”
Spectrum is very bad about sending lots of these, as OP has shared.
The fat, jolly, red-suit-wearing Santa as we know it today, created by Coca-Cola to sell more product, is a Marxist. TIL. 😂
It blows my mind when people do that.
“Hey, the way that you styled yourself makes me not want to have sex with you.”
“Uhhh… Cool?”
