I think boss was just lazy to think about it in this case and you gave him no other choice thou 😅

😅 That’s what i thought as well but it also depends on distro and their community. I’ve never got such a support from MS or Google as i did from these non payer dudes who do it in their free time.
Just wanted to add that i know folks who have no problem using distro like Mint but are extremely non tech. To the point they can’t set up their new TV. In fact it’s safer for them than Windows since they can’t just go clicling yes to all dangerous operations like on Windows.
I thinkbeginner friendly distros are more difficult not for total noobs but for users who are slightly experienced with PCs and want to do medium level operations like installing specific soft outside distro repo .
It doesn’t seem to be the case with distros like Mint. I even know folks who have Mint but they have no clue about tech or computers at all. As users they can hardly tell difference. And It’s actually easier on them because it doesn’t get all messy as Windows does for non tech folks, so there is almost no maintenance needed. I very much recommended it for granparents and such, so you don’t have to go fixing their Windows PC each visit because they downloaded tons of random danger ware by not understanding what they do.
Or get Proton and Let Valve do the rest.
Bit better then when we mined coal or lithium since it’s so abundant we don’t have to fck up whole regions for it to get to the little bit here and there. Desalination makes sense, dried death salt lakes also seems logical etc. Salt is everywhere. People are even building artificial “caves” with salt for others to go breath salty air inside.
or don’t buy city car for intercity trips. Get li-ion powered cars or wait for them to make model with bigger range.
It seems to me that car in the article is relatively small city car. I can imagine that building bigger car with inter city travels in mind would also include an improved range.
That is the case with every energy storage though in some cases it’s more pronounced.
Now with lithium… are much much much more expensive
and explosive
It was double sense joke… But thx for serious answer .
There are people laughing at them for not hiring someone born at 20th of April , very same folks riding elevators and not finding weird that the 13th floor is missing.
Why did sex become illegal ?
Yep, gotta love them folks who use “white mode”, full brightness and then turn on all lights in the room because they think it will help them see what is on screen.
Hurts eyes of everyone who gets in the way.
Dark Reader most of the time manages these sites automaticaly.
It could make you less "over concentrated " thus reduce eye strain and stress. As if sitting in comfy room with warm colors. It’s just speculation though.
Sometimes it’s actually better with dark background on direct sun.
If we are talking about devices screen, white background kinda goes yellow on direct sun and contrast reduces. But black background goes dark grey and less light gets reelected back to the eyes.
If we are talking old school paper ( SHOCKING i know ). It’s close to unreadable on direct sun when paper is white because it shines back too bright, it hurts eyes but black paper it much more comfy on eyes.
Note: Reason why black on white was used historicaly is most likely economical. (Less paint, easy to maintain.) If papyrus naturally turned black, all written text might have been in “dark mode” from the beginning.
IMHO it does contradict what you say. Intention doesn’t matter. If you copy currency , you either have to make apparent its fake currency or you are might get in trouble with law. Intention, aka motive is hard to prove and if proven doesn’t make it legal to copy official currency.
I have yet to see country that doesn’t mind copying their currency unofficially but I’m open to suggestions 🫡
Could he be Linux guy perhaps ?
