I doubt they’ll ever come to Europe. They don’t meet even the most basic crash safety standards. These things are designed to annihilate pedestrians, not to try to reduce harm.

Yeah this was an election of billionaires vs everyone else. Unfortunately the billionaires won by making their voters think they were playing a different game.
It needs to be way way better than ‘better than average’ if it’s ever going to be accepted by regulators and the public. Without better sensors I don’t believe it will ever make it. Waymo had the right idea here if you ask me.
If anyone was somehow still thinking RoboTaxi is ever going to be a thing. Then no, it’s not, because of reasons like this.
Brill! Glad it helped.
Sounds like a SPF / DKIM / DMARC issue. You can test how your domain is set up here. https://www.dmarctester.com/
Ideally you want all three set up. But you must have SPF and DKIM or you’ve no chance of staying out of spam folders.
Im a fan of high speed rail as much as anyone but a lot of this network has been built with massive debts and for a lot lines, no immediate commercial viability. Not a million miles away from Victorian railway companies in London building lines for, hoped for, future demand. I hope it works out, but there is for sure a risk of it becoming a millstone.

For now, Discord users in Türkiye face limited access to the platform, though it remains unclear whether a full ban will be implemented in the coming days.
Still working for me on hotel wifi.
Edit: it won’t launch on my laptop now. Stuck trying to update. Still works on my phone.
The email continues that UK employees “need to be mindful of the hours they work and are asked to have 11 hours outside of work in each 24-hour period.”
This is an attempt to stay within working time regulations in the UK but they are violating this bit
By law (The Working Time Regulations 1998), employees and workers have the right to the following rest: …. between working weeks – 24 hours every 7 working days or 48 hours every 14 working days
By having a 19 day unbroken run which, as I understand it, is not legal.
In the UK they’re called ‘idents’. You can find a huge collection of UK ones here https://theident.gallery/
I wonder how many millions they need to be inspired to update their platform so it doesn’t need a regular outage every Tuesday.
All hotels reserve the right to inspect your room whenever they need to. The privacy sign just means you don’t want room service, it’s not some magical lock.
They’d still knock, not just burst into your room to catch you in flagrante.
That said seeing the black hat conference in this way is daft.
I’m sure I’ll never need all 4 of the SCART cables I have, but then maybe I will so I’ll hang onto them just in case.
Just saw this a few hours ago. If it wasn’t for this post I think I’d have forgotten about it already.
I guess it’s fine, just entirely unremarkable.
They’ve committed to support AM5 (the LGA socket launched 2022) through at least 2027.
I imagine SMS authorisation texts are Telegrams biggest single expense, they are for Signal https://signal.org/blog/signal-is-expensive/
Telcos know that authentication is about the only remaining use case for SMS and are not going to turn down the revenue stream.
That said this idea from Telegram sounds absurd. Not least I expect most contracts prevent reselling free SMS’s like this. The security implications have got to be significant too.
What does ‘unaffordable with fiat currencies’ even mean? This guy knows you can divide BTC right?
Yup. Investors have convinced themselves that this time AI development is going to grow exponentially. The breathless fantasies they’ve concocted for themselves require it. They’re going to be disappointed.
