ADA lawsuits can fix that.

Driving a smaller SUV and the number of vehicles whos headlight are at my eye level really sucks. There’s also some study out there about the unnecessary raised hood that does nothing but increase fatalities and lowers visibility of the 10 meters directly in front of the vehicle.
if you’re not a straight, white, male, it’s acknowledging the extra hurdles of discrimination (intentional or not), and the limited access to famialial resources that you might have to overcome for which the straight white male would not
Assuming you know something about someone only due their skin color is pretty fucking racist. That includes assuming a white person has familial resources, or assuming that a non white doesn’t.
It’s odd sitting here having to explain that stereotypes are bad.
Are you implying “anti racist discrimination” is justified by your quote? I agree with your quote, but it is not supportive of Kendi’s quote in the slightest. To discriminate is to “unjustly treat categories of people”, so if someone is acting racist and you don’t tolerate them, that is not discrimination at all because you are judging them for their actions, not their looks.
Weight should absolutely be a factor in registration fees. Between road damage, their environmental cost, and danger they pose it’s a no brainer.
“The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination”
Harvards cs50 I believe has"the missing lecture" that talks about deployments and other activities surrounding programming.
If you want to learn how to make web apps you want to make sure the course includes deployments. Or get a specific course on the cloud platform you want to learn.
How many hours. If it’s 2 or less per week I’m fine with it.
My library offers $7 worth of printing free each week with your Library. I am curious how many households actually still have printers these days.
Sms has been god awful since the beginning, both the standard and the business implementation. Remember bullshit pricing models for texts? 10center per text over your limit. Even today, the standard hasn’t kept up with modern times.
So then it seems completely absurd signal is “not interested” in allowing any integration. They could just notify their users communications with WhatsApp users are unsecure.
Let’s put strip clubs up there too.
They are prioritizing things deemed necessities.
The problem is cars never stop
I believe you that you experience this but it’s simply not the case nation wide. I grew up without a car and walked/bussed for my entire 20s. Never had an issue, though I do make sure Imnsituationally aware no matter who has the right away.
My last pixel died on a river float when water got into the storage area where my phone was. I don’t know how the water got inside the phones internals but I suspect the charging port could have been the weak point.
Dedicated cycle for pedestrians, all way crossing so they can cross diagonally too. It separates cars and pedestrians completely.
In terms of water proofing, how well does the usb-C port hold up? Water damage is one of the main causes of death for mobile phones. I wanted to see better water proofing overall and wonder if this would be a setback in that regard.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m very thrilled to have USB c as the standard.
Pedestrian scramble is probably more appropriate than banning right on red, and is proven to greatly reduce accidents. No need to have cars sitting idling longer than needed and adding to congestion. Ive also worked in a downtown area where pedestrian traffic could get so heavy cars couldn’t turn right on green.
Being pissed is the wrong framing of the issue. There’s a legitimate issues with gimping our infrastructure. Nobody would die if we all drove 5mph, but the personal and economic losses to millions of people would be catestrophic.
Every few years I start getting emulators setup but then give up. Wanted to setup on Raspberry pie, Nvidia shield, and now maybe steam deck is next.
