Read a few pages and you’ll see the pattern. Nearly all of it supporting Trump or Republicans or picking holes in people who criticised them. You’re not in the slightest bit objective, you’re all for Trump. If you were actually objective, you would have more criticism for disgraced former president Trump and his five lies a minute deranged, deluded, reality denying self absorbed approach to everything.
Strange that the king of misinformation comes in for so little criticism from you and so much praise.
My point is that you’re username suggests objectivity, calm rationality and balance, but you’re incredibly partisan, feeling-driven and pretty rude to people who criticise guess what? No, not science, not facts, not rationality, but Donald Trump, the science-denying idiot disgraced former president who is well known for using the word “truth” to mean things he likes to hear and “fake” for things he doesn’t like to hear, the liar of liars, the king of untruth, and the toddler of emotional maturity.
So no, the fact that it makes you cross that lots of women are checking that their husbands can’t find out how they voted, or even that Google thought they might, and that you’re calling people names for thinking it might be happening, doesn’t particularly convince me that this is not happening.

Nah, zendesk should absolutely have recognised that gaining unauthorised read access to support ticket email chains is a massive security issue. Firstly “support email chains” accounts for proportionately nearly all the data zendesk is handling, so a vulnerability there is core to the product, not at all peripheral, and secondly, who on earth is working in tech today that doesn’t know that your email is they key to all your online accounts?
Zendesk here were blatantly either stupid or in denial and treated a bug reporter as a low life enemy instead of an asset. The kid did right by any plausible moral viewpoint.

In other news, my friend got me to try carrot in his meat and potato pie, and I was all “keep that orange shit off my plate” but he was persistent and I caved and tried it for the first time in a decade (with a big chunk of meat) and I didn’t hate it at all.
I shouted at him when he fed me “some kind of exotic shredded fruit peel cake, try it, it’s really moist and tasty” and when I liked it admitted it was carrot cake. I shouted a lot, and he just laughed at me and offered me another stupid delicious slice, the git.
So I think the lesson we all learned is that when I think I can’t possibly be persuaded to try something and that I find the very idea unpleasant, I might well be wrong. Quite, quite wrong.
So, Jamie, wherever you are these days, sorry. If I had my time over I’d give it a try. In the nineties it produced the cleanest .rtf output of all the editors. Word makes toxic .rtf that unnecessarily turns formatting off and on at every line break and elsewhere too.
