Ok that’s great to hear. Basically it functions perfectly fine so long as you aren’t stressing the system.

Nice research! Thanks!
That makes sense. I’m pretty sure all my chargers support voltages up in the 20s, I forget what the standard is. So perhaps that’s the main factor.
Thanks for your input!
Interesting, so perhaps it could be an issue. I’d be curious to find out!
Hmmm, well USB PD is pretty universal and I imagine that’s what framework uses?
18w is pretty low, I agree and I wouldn’t expect that to work. But the 13 inch framework uses a 65w power supply so it certainly seems in the realm of possibility. To me anyway.
I’d love to know if anyone has tried it
That’s fair. I figured as much. I’m still doing most of my couch computing on a 2016 Chromebook. It calls for a 45w charger, but I’ve used my 18w phone charger in the past. It complains about it, but it still slooowly charges.
I was hoping the framework would fare better on 65w.
Again, not a big deal, just a talking point. Easily solved problem. Just curious. Thanks!
Eh it works just fine 🤷♂️
Roads are 55mph here, seldom any traffic, so it’s more like 2 hours by bike. For us anyway.
That’s pretty much how we do it, but with a phev and an SUV. On days we both work she takes the phev, I the SUV. When one of us is going somewhere we take the phev. But if it’s snowing or we want to haul kayaks or load up heavy to go camping, the SUV.
The phev is "hers"and the SUV “mine”. But only vaguely 🤷♂️ we don’t actually care that much. But also it’s not a free for all. She would probably be a little miffed if I just randomly took the phev to work forcing her into the SUV. But if we talked about it first she’d probably be fine 🤷♂️
Commendable. But many of us live where cars are the only practical way to get around. My wife and I both drive 30 minutes to get to work.
I was with you until the minute late thing. That’s crap. Grace period?
Not that I try to be late, I’m 99% early. But I’d be ticked to lose an hour because of couple minutes late on a bad morning. Though I guess some people may need that painful motivation to not abuse the system.
This happened for me with the scene in one of the new star trek movies where they play beastie boys while busting out of a cloud or something. Idk, it was a really cool scene, but I was mad that I’d already seen it in the trailer. It’s ludicrous. I still complain about it to my wife to this day.
Thanks!
This is very informative thanks. I’ve printed a lot of PLA on my Creality glass plate with no issues, but I recently started with PETG and it’s insane how much harder it sticks.
I learned through trial and error to only remove it while the bed is still hot, but even then it really sticks too well.
Is this legit? Or are you making a spaghetti joke? I actually can’t tell lol
Thanks, I thought of something even better. Slap Linux on that thing! Wipe the whole drive on “accident”. Linux is way more innocuous than pirate Windows 🤷♂️
Go with humility first, you screwed up. Follow it up with a joke about how you discovered a flaw in the configuration of work laptops, and now they can fix it to prevent someone else from being able to do that 🤷♂️ I think you’ll be ok
I would also like to know the answer to this
That’s me more or less
Thanks!
