I used custom roms for many years, but I now use my phone to pay almost everything, and I need my banking apps. magisk hide is unreliable do I won’t be rooting my phone again I think

that was badass… I like this dude
I knew he said it before… but 5 times?! lmao he is truly a sad ridiculous man
my tv can barely play Netflix I doubt it’s taking pictures every second lol
Jesus Christ that’s Elon’s kid !!
when you pay using the virtual wallet it automatically makes a mock id to the POS … at least in my country it does
the app hides the real numbers for the credit card and gives the POS a mock id to make the purchase. it’s harder to clone. also you need to unlock the phone for it to work it’s an extra layer of protection
I have been using stock for a while, but I remember using magisk root to hide root to the bank app and I never had an issue
I don’t use it out of hate towards the official app… I will never download it, I deleted my account also
it was sad for me too. I haven’t looked back since they banned 3rd party apps, it was time to let it go
I use it sometimes in virtual machines but not as a default os, and when I program locally I’m stuck with windows
i used to operate ok Linux many years ago but I never got used to it, I want to try it now that I mostly do programming but I don’t have a PC, I only use my xorporate notebook that doesn’t allow dual boot. I hope I can buy a notebook soon and try it out, sound fun
you didn’t really need to write that down, you know.
maybe, but lemmy is not for everyone, most people didn’t use reddit either. i still showed a couple screencaps from the lemmy.world frontpage
The presentation went along like this:
at the end I mentioned what I considered to be the most important challenges and steps ahead for the fediverse, thinks like escalation, funding, onboarding and moderation it was fun, the class liked it, i think some were going to try mastdon, it’s a start!
I just did a presentation in my university about lemmy and the fediverse, people loved it!
you are wrong, machine learning are algorithms for pattern recognition… the are used for prediction in uncertain systems… deep learning is mostly unsupervised image processing and classification using neural networks and complex algorithms. AI is an umbrella term yes but it’s more than just machine learning and deep learning… take for example llms, they are a very complex network of CNN and Deep learning clusters. AI will take jobs most definitely… not all of them, but most jobs will be obsolete very fast. take into consideration that the tech is evolving very quickly and the market is not keeping up with it… once one competitor starts using ai, it will get ahead of it’s competitors FAST and EASY. it’s already happening, I work in that industry so I can say with confidence that AI will take millions of jobs in the next 10 years … saying “it will only make our jobs easier” its absolutely wishful thinking
not realizing deep learning is different than generative ai… wich WILL take our jobs. not all AI is the same my dude
anyone left modding for stickers in reddit is an absolute moron.
yes this, phone payments mask your card id in the POS. it’s way more secure
