Liftoff isn’t too bad but it’s just not the same polished experience that Sync is. Plus it handles messaging weird imo

It’s being worked on, Sync is a very mature app whose codebase had to be migrated over from Reddit’s API. An MVP was prioritized over more advanced features like posting.

Fun fact: Soap is absolutely the way to clean your cast iron. The old advice of “soap will ruin your seasoning” is based on old soaps which includes lye, a strong base. Modern dish soaps are very gentle and are perfect for cast iron! Note that this doesn’t include dishwasher detergents, those are very aggressive and will ruin your seasoning.

Tangent, what’s it like going for grad and post grad in computer science? I’ve wanted to try teaching for the longest time but I learned very little new material over the course of my Bachelor’s and the only thing that made it worth my time was the math content lol
