Thank you! That is very informative.

There’s a lot of One UI features that I take for granted now (same thing I also hear from friends who switched to a Pixel)
As someone who has only ever used Samsung and is thinking about getting a pixel this worries me a bit. Could you elaborate?
I assumed scooter meant something like this: https://mein-escooter.de/cdn/shop/products/102005_1z_M-Racing_ART_940x.jpg
Do it! Just think of all the insurance, gas and repair money you’ll save.
I’d personally advise for an e bike rather than a scooter since it’s more versatile and allows you to put bags on it to transport stuff, but that’s personal preference of course.
Yeah, same here. It’s a pretty specific demand when bluetooth headphones have become really good and actually have a lot of advantages compared to wired ones. Also there is always the option to use a USB C dongle so it’s really not that big of a deal.
They explain very thoroughly on their website why they did it:

The moment Adobe Creative Cloud works on Linux, I’ll switch. Until then I’ll have to stick with Windows.
It is mine. There is a room with each tenant’ washing machine in the basement and that is a typical situation in Germany.
Not trying to defend stupid internet connectivity but my washing machine is in the basement in a shared laundry room while I live on the second floor of the apartment building. No way I’ll hear it beep so a notification would be very useful actually. This is a very common situation in Europe where a lot of people live in rental apartments.
The problem is rather that there needs to be WiFi access in the laundry room.
Sounds like a great workplace.
Well you can refuse to accept papers that contain it. No problem with that. It’s their internal guidelines.
Yeah, it really is a shame. Apart from the battery it’s a really nice phone, but the battery issue completely ruins the experience. I’m going to replace mine as soon as my current contract ends in July so I can get a good deal for a device with a new plan. I even dropped it and shattered the screen back in October but didn’t bother to have it repaired because I didn’t want to put more money into this device. I’m annoyed by the cracks every single day, but it just feels too wrong to pay more money for it. I’ll be so happy when I finally have a new phone.
Looks like the Pixel 8 would be a good option. I don’t think I can wait until the Pixel 9 comes out. I’m also keeping an eye on the Pixel Fold 2, hope it’ll be released in May.
I’m crying salty tears on my S22 that gets me 2.5 hours of SOT on a good day, 1.5h on a not so good day.
Vitamin D3 is a good idea, generally the recommendation is 1000 IU a day. Especially now after the winter (assuming you’re in the Northern hemisphere) your vitamin D storage is probably depleted (the body needs a certain amount of UV radiation on the skin to produce vitamin D.
Regular exercise has been proven to help against depression and I think it’s probably the best and most important thing you can do. While helping your depression it will also help your general health and fitness.
Eat well: lots and lots of veggies, legumes and whole grain products. If unhealthy food makes you happy, don’t cut it from your diet completely. Allow yourself to eat sweets etc every once in a while and in moderation, but try to have a very healthy diet as a basis.
These things are probably hard to implement when you’re depressed in the first place but I guarantee you they’ll help and become easier as you go if you consistently stick to them. It takes about 66 days on average to build new habits. So if you manage to stick to it for about 2-3 months, it will become a lot easier.
Good luck!
My dreams are not unlike yours
They long for the safety
And break like a glass chandelier
But there’s laughter and oh, there is love
Just past the edge of our fears
And there’s chaos when push comes to shove
But it’s music to my ears
Wow, this actually sounds very plausible.
Not a native speaker here. Would a French woman also be 'a Frenchman’s and if not, how would you refer to a French woman correctly?
I really wonder how big it’s going to be. I’m ok with the aspect ratio as long as it’s still <150mm in height.
Sounds really interesting. I’m thinking about getting a foldable that doesn’t allow different layouts for the screens, will probably check it out if I get one. Does it allow the swipe down gesture to open notifications?
