Something like Ryzen 5 / high i5/low i7 with 4060Ti or 6800XT/7700XT. I think you’ll be better off going a bit higher than that. But then again, a pc does more than just gaming so if you would want it just to game with a console has better optimisation for lower price.

Depending on the type of DVI you can just buy a small DVI to HDMI adapter. I’ve run this setup for years when I got a gpu without DVI.

The Dutch housing market is very difficult at the moment, so any place worth living is gonna be hard if you don’t bring a huge bag of cash. That said, the Netherlands is a great country to come to because most folks speak English very well and we don’t mind accomodating others.

But as someone who has lived in the Netherlands his entire life, I’d prefer a country like Portugal. Ethically, though, Iberian countries have a big problem with folks from western countries migrating and driving up prices in the more desirable areas. Lisbon is essentially becoming Amsterdam in the sense that you’ll hear more English than the native language.

I think what you’re describing is the need for RSS feeds. Generally, news outlets categorise their articles neatly so you subscribe with RSS to only headlines, or world events, or whatever. It requires you to have a look around the news site in question and setup RSS correctly.

The other neat thing is that you can read all your RSS feeds (ie multiple news sites) in one reader and there are tons of custom RSS apps.

I think the 70 model is best to upgrade every once in a while. I went from a 1070Ti/1080p to 1070Ti/1440p. Then it started struggling, so now I’m on 4070/1440p. If you’d have a xx60 you’d be upgrading every gen.

That said, rumour has it that the 50xx’s won’t be a big improvement over 40xx. Most likely what comes after 50xx will be a big one.

So depends on what you play but the 40 series does all the DLSS fancies the 50 will probably. So 4070ti super for my money would be fine, 4080 super might be nice if you can get it.
