This assumes that OP actually meant git…
I fear they may have had no idea what the distinction between git and GitHub is and intended to say GitHub.

Your wording makes me believe my comment came across as much more serious as intended.
Also, assuming you really did take that experience to heart I am not criticising you. I am criticising the actions of someone with less life experience, who no longer exists (they have been replaced with the smart you).
It’s weird, in my native language I tend to turn the speed down much more often than in English.
Only if the goal is reproduction. You need to survive to reproduce.
If the goal is maximum damage for the least amount of economic cost then a suicide (anthropomorphizing the drone here) can very much make sense.
No one would argue that a sword is better than guns or bombs, because you still have the sword after attacking.
I’m usually watching at 2.5-3.0 times speed. I turn down the speed either for A: entertainment (movies simply have a sort of pacing that is not so nice to interrupt (compared to any random YouTube video)), or B: because the content is sooo good and information dense that the limiting factor is no longer audio processing, but following the reasoning of the content. Those are the videos I love most.
EU freedom of movement really is something else, lol
Thank god, I was afraid to be judged insane.
But I’m good since I watch my videos at 2.5-3.0 times speed!
Yeah, I tried and I failed. I applaud that you can look back at that and change your behavior online, but past you is getting judged hard rn, lol
Every time I see a joke with lotr like this in an English community i am reminded that you all have missed out on the glorious “lord of the weed” series. It’s a voiceover parody of the lord of the rings, but the ring makes you high instead of invisible.
The reason this gets attention is because it’s the first level 3 sold to consumers.
The tech is hard, of course it’s gonna start out with laughingly limited capabilities. But it’s the first step towards more automation.
Yes, but it’s actually level 3.
Not the Tesla “full self driving - no wait we actually lied to you, you need to be alert at all times” bullshit.
Some devices will use a hard coded DNS instead of respecting the one on the network
Right, and I am pointing out that non-cooperative devices still won’t be blocked by pihole if they so desire.
Right, so flowing that link there are three ways for DNS:
Classic on port 53,
Dns over TLS on port 853
Dns over https.
The first two can be blocked, because they have specific ports exclusively assigned to them. DoH can’t be blocked reliably, because it is encrypted and on a common port. Though blocking 443 on common DNS resolvers can force some clients to fall back to one of the variants that can be blocked/redirected
Dns over https is immune to that firewall method, right?
What’s apm?
The video has a short section on productivity (i.e. rendering or compiling). That part is probably the most relevant for most people. Check the chapter view in YouTube to jump directly to it.
I think a 2x performance improvement is plausible when comparing non-soldered ram to the Apple silicon, which goes even further and has the memory on the die itself. If, of course, ram is the limiting factor.
The advantages of upgradable, expandable ram are obvious. But let’s face it: most people don’t need and even less use that capability.
I understand the scepticism, but without links of what you’ve found or which parts in particular you consider dubious claims (ram speed can be increased when soldered, higher speeds lead to better performance, etc) it comes across as “i don’t believe you, because i choose to not believe you”
LTT has made a comparison video on ram speeds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-WFetQjifc
Do you need proof that soldered ram can be made to run faster?
I’m pretty sure when searching with AI the model gets told “here are five articles about <user search term>, summarize them and answer the following question: <user input> <top 5 search results from a traditional search engine>”
Why was that downvoted, it’s true.
Backing out of a parking spot is comparatively dangerous, because you can’t see if anyone is approaching from the side.
From what I’ve heard he wasn’t such a great peacetime president either.
