10·1 day agoI’m staying on 1440p deliberately. My 3080 is still perfectly fine for a few more years, at least current console gen.
18·8 days agoSaw him last year, my sister dragged me to one of his climate change talks. Fairly worthless to anyone except children who don’t know what’s going on yet pretty much. The Q&A section was funny because it was entirely people asking him what they should do about it, and Bill just kinda shrugging with non-answers and irrational optimism. Good talk.
I’d say that’s a neat factoid.
We’ll go extinct eventually so that’s true.

1·20 days agoWe had family computers first, I can’t recall original specs but I think my mother added in a 384MB drive to the 486 desktop before buying a win98se prebuilt with a 2GB drive. I remember my uncle calling that Pentium II 350MHZ, 64MB SDRAM, Rage 2 Pro Turbo AGP tower “a NASA computer” haha.

2·21 days agoOwners acted very childish when people understandably sought out refunds, basically. Refusal to refund, acting as if they never supported piracy and it’s all our fault, threats about giving french gov logs, stuff like that.
Ah, that’s annoying. I’ve had to switch from Real Debrid (turns out RD was run by cunts anyways, so good riddance) and now Quad9. Sucks, they had better response times than most DNS I tested.
