10·30 days agoGarmin. You’ll probably spend a bit more on the hardware, but there’s nothing locked behind a subscription. I had the Fitbit Sense and switched to the Garmin Forerunner 265. If the skin temperature sensor is important to you, you’ll want a different model, but that’s the only thing I’ve noticed as missing so far.

2·2 months agoGreat job CNN… Didn’t think to include any pictures of the actual leggings?? They’re high rise, no underwear hanging out, just the seam shape and placement is similar to a “whale tail”.
In your opinion, how should they be crediting it? I’m having trouble trying to imagine a good way that it could be credited within the song, and I can’t imagine very many people actually pay attention to the credits for music, especially when so few of us are buying physical copies anymore.
I’ve definitely experienced feeling annoyed at the new songs, but some have grown on me, and hearing the samples often leads me to add the original to my playlist. I’ve actually been having a lot of fun trying to see if I can name the original artist & song title whenever a new one pops up.

2·5 months agoShit, I’d just make a spreadsheet, but then again, I love spreadsheets. Not FOSS, but you could set up a Google Forms to collect the entries in a more user friendly format.

Only if you use mmdd date format. The majority of the world uses ddmm.
Do you know if there’s a way to do this other than DND? I just set up a profile that’s scheduled to be active 24/7 where only people in my contacts can call, but my problem is that it puts the DND icon in my status bar, so I lose the visual indicator when my phone is in a more restrictive DND profile, which I do use sometimes and also occasionally accidentally trigger.
Can you direct me to any sort of source on that? I did a brief search, and I see some information about toxins found in tomato plants in general, (mostly stems, leaves, and green/unripe tomatoes), but nothing that specifically discusses a higher concentration in the “belly button” (I assume you mean the core/where the stem connects?) vs. the rest of the fruit.
