I find a lot of good content on Reddit, but its different now as opposed to the early days. The good content used to be on Reddit. Now its not, its on one of 6 other sites, and Reddit is just the ad service they’re posting on. I am sick of the in joke comments and inane comments like “this”. I want discussion.

An OS can be restored. Backup your data, so /home for sure and maybe any custom configs for /etc, like your wireguard configs. So anything you specifically edited/added for /etc directory.

When the suggestion is to pirate it, so spotify doesn’t get any money I don’t see how your follow-up comment matters. In either case of piracy, OR using spotify, the artist still doesn’t make money. Problem is that piracy comes with a lot more hoops and headaches.

Of course, buying the artist CD or songs directly is much preferable to either.

And the artists still won’t. So given in either case, the artist don’t make squat; using Spotify is easier. So, use spotify.

Typically In my experience, what you describe is a Power/Wattage issue. Could be a powerdown, sleep issue, or something like either the GPU isn’t getting the power it needs when it needs it, or the PSU is just over taxed. Would really want to see DMESG logs and more hardware info (Do you have crashdumps?). Try disabling any powerdown or C-states for the GPU, prevent it from going to sleep.
