I’m sure many have seen it, but Kersgezat recently put out video that opened my eyes to the less-obvious benefits of exercise.
I’m not sure about the French translation, but another word for ground is Earth. As a guess, an environmentalist group is probably adapting it from that terminology.
It just occurred to me how similar AI images are to dreams, always related to the prompt, but never quite how a conscious brain would imagine it. All the weird, illegible text, the grotesque bodies, etc. really do match up fairly well with unconsciousness.
Hmm.
Never really looked into it before.
Now I downloaded it.
Google’s strategy seems to have backfired, in my case.
It entirely depends on the context.
The simple answer is that my favorite country is where my employment and loved ones are, the USA.
For travel, Probably Spain. I’ve always felt that the mix of relaxation and adventure is perfect there. I’ve always loved southern Chile, but it’s a bit too rural to feel entirely comfortable. There’s always this awareness of how much trouble I’d be in if I screwed anything up.
I absorbed this from Cooks Illustrated, years ago: unless you’re deep frying your chicken, the best option is to start in shallow oil to brown the coating, then finish in the oven to cook the meat.
It’s very difficult to shallow-fry chicken.
Especially those at work who can’t install their own software.
It’s farcical.
When a company introduces something consumers want, we will research and find a way to get it and use it ASAP. Nobody needs to interrupt our workflow to tell us about it. I don’t remember getting any in-app notifications for the Gmail select all “feature,” but I figured it out pretty damn quickly.
Oh shit thank you so much.
My towel was still in the dryer. That would have been an annoying way to start the week.
Get to bed on time so I can face the Monday blues on 8 hours sleep.
I could see it being possible to use, if they were the spring-loaded momentary toggles, and mounted upside down, so up was off. It would still be horrible, but possible.
Mid 40’s by birth
I shit-canned about 20 years with active alcoholism, but then made a fairly good showing in the following 15, I’d say I’m probably 10 years behind. Thankfully, my current job has a real pension, rather than a defined-contribution plan. I should be ok, assuming the city is.
I just made a bunch of Pixel 7 astro shots in the last week.
I’ve found the bright spot in the middle to be consistent enough that I added a mask to my Lightroom preset to cancel it out. I’m not really sure what they were going for there. I suppose it could be some sort of lens or stacking artifact. I just don’t get it. With all the processing they use to make these captures, you’d think they would’ve evened it out themselves. Either way, it’s simple enough to work around.
I’ve always been really impressed by astro mode. I had a 3a before, and even that produced stunning starscapes.
Yeah, no. I’ll stand up right away, help people around me reach their luggage, along with getting ours down and prepared to roll. Nobody behind me on the plane is going to appreciate it I’m fumbling around with my bags while they’re trying to get off.
That’s awful.
Absolutely.
I just save it up.
It’s like yelling. Nobody pays attention if you do it all the time.
