I don’t know what’s covered under US “healthcare”, and I think it also depends on your age. Probably should talk to your doctor and ask them. Maybe a bunch of blood tests, dental work, cancer screenings, prostate check, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy.

Yep. Universities are in on it too. You can’t work in academia without constantly publishing. These publishers don’t pay you for your work. But publishing improves your “reputation” and “scholarly activity” which the university requires in order to boost its own “reputation”. It’s a big scam.
I’m in a Western country and 9 out of 10 phone calls I recieve are scam calls from India. Right now in my country, there are Indians with temporary working visas protesting because they don’t want to return to India.

Do you remember when Sun Chips changed their chip bag material to a more environmentally friendly compostable material? People lost their minds. Why? Because the bag crinkled a lot. All of the boring late night talk shows made fun of Sun Chips bags. So, they switched it back to the old bags.
Moral of the story is that people don’t care if something is better for the environment if it inconveniences them now. If everything was in cans people would cry because they can’t close them or whatever. In fact, many items that were previously sold in cans are now plastic. Also, money… Cheaper to wrap water in plastic.

If I put my old man hat on, I’d say none. I think the idea of “classics” is dead. I also think most modern mainstream music is terrible. But hey what do I know.
If Duolingo is too fast paced, then you aren’t going to learn any quicker using a different method. The fastest way to learn any language is full immersion with lessons. It’s extremely difficult. Maybe go online and find a tutor/teacher in your area or virtually. Oh and it’s “ciao”.

In my opinion, the biggest problem with Linux is it requires tinkering in terminal which nearly every non-tech savvy person finds intimidating. Even if it’s a simple command. Until Linux has a shiny dumbed-down GUI for everything you need to do, it won’t catch on for the average PC user.
Linux has made incredible progress in this area though. But, everytime I use a new Linux install, I encounter errors or something that requires troubleshooting and terminal use.
I think I surprising amount of people are likely just “faking it”. I hope one day we can collectively cut the BS and all admit we don’t know what we’re doing.
If I ended up in the Pokemon universe, I’d be fighting for Pokemon rights. Clearly, these creatures are fully sentient. They fluently understand human language, and even one (Meowth) can speak. We have no right to capture and force them to fight. Also, I would fight to help teach them human languages or unlock the secrets to their “language”, so we may better communicate.
