I always found Tom’s hardware more casual and less perfectionnist, but it probably is different between the french edition and the english one (it exists in both, with different teams, and maybe more). IMHO.

User management on syncthing ? I’d be interested by your source mate. This would incline me to try it. I currently use a ldap server for me and my friends. And seafile with the ldap.
