Is ceramic tint different from ordinary tint?
I own old Chromebook.
Chromebook software updates are not forever.
It is my understanding that some Chromebooks might be locked in such a way that installation of Linux might NOT be an option or the might be a high chance of bricking the device.
At least that was the case with my Chromebook.
So, once OS updates are unavailable, the machine might become a weak link from security standpoint or stop running some software.
Chromebook is still a great option, but be careful with very old ones.
It is cheaper to produce fish and greens of manufacturing is combining the production.
The synergy of manufacturing processes increases profits and can be sold to consumers as reduction of energy consumption.
Current AI is good at compressing knowledge.
Best job role: information assistant or virtual secretary.
How much energy do they spend to keep this floater in place?
I recommend that you boot your distro of choice from USB and see if it works for you.
You might be surprised.
If it doesn’t work with one, try a different distribution.
I’ve used Linux with nvidia cards and didn’t have issues, but I am not very demanding.
Take snapshot. If problem occurs, manually change boot label to use snapshot label.
BTRFS is zero effort on root, because it is included in kernel. ZFS on root is extra effort at least on Arch, due to licensing restrictions.
Dedicated gaming machine or dual boot is a way to go.
I played steam on Arch and one update of OS and game stops working.
Despite claims, Windows gets better outcomes. I played a lot of World of Tanks Blitz and the same hardware on Linux was significantly lower graphics quality and FPS compared to Windows.
Windows is better for gaming than Linux.
With Linux you have to be ready to play only what works.
It is not likely to be XFCE specific.
Make sure you have properly configured swap space and its size is larger than RAM. Because this will be the easiest cause. Some people stated as much as twice the ram size.
There’s a wiki page on arch wiki trying to help with this issue. In short, prepare for a lot of work and good luck.
Jellyfin has mobile and desktop clients.
For me for a long time it was a coin toss between Plex and Jellyfin.
For some long forgotten reason I ended with Emby and eventually migrated to Jellyfin as its true free open source fork.
With jellyfin DLNA server i can play same music on Apple TV, etc. although DLNA clients are certainly not as nice as native apps. One can offset problem with playlists.
Both have quick start wiki pages like this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Jellyfin
Official documentation: https://jellyfin.org/docs/
Trust that it works well and it does. However, first gen was not as good as after it.
Good microphone quality. Not true for first gen after some time in my experience
Reliable connection. True most of the time.
Apple ecosystem, yes to a small degree. Ability to see battery level is nice.
Fast recharge times
Endless usage time if using one headphone at a time. It is my preference usage method.
Cons: high price. After several years I expect to find comparable competition. It exists, and i use it, but i lost: 1, 2, 3 from my list. And usability is crap: accidentally touching headphone turns it off.
Downvotes shall list better headphones.
I myself have not found a better solution.
I like apple headphones and i settled on similar shaped non-apple brand at a fraction af the price, but it is lower in quality compared to apple. Microphone is crap and I stopped trying to use it. Headphones level is good at low level and high level sound reproduction, but it is not as accurate as apple.
In the end the trade off is worth it to me for the price, but i will not claim at is better.
So, bring on your alternative and price of it.
Mine lasted for years as far as battery is concerned.
Unfortunately the loudness level has dropped significantly. I went to Apple store and they acknowledged this as that’s what happens to them.
Eventually I gave up and replaced with alternative lower cost similar style headphones. The sound level is plenty, but microphone is terrible. I tried several and found I found similar problems. It is acceptable for much lower cost, but doesn’t compare.
It works on proton
World of Tanks Blitz.
You either would like it or not. Requires brain to play. Think Call of Duty only fast reflexes and low latency make no difference. Each game is around 10 minutes or less.
It is totally possible to play and enjoy for free, if willing to accumulate cash prior to getting tank at next level.
Free to play.
You will have to use proton. It works with it.
Please share more as you keep using it.
Whatever are those options?
