I use glorious nixos BTW
I use glorious nixos BTW
For some reason I use YouTube music most of the time.
Vlc would be my choice for local. And maybe a jellyfin for my server.
Glorious nixos. For those who want to play a souls like everytime they want to use their pc. /s
But I can play them without Internet (mostly).
Steam isn’t perfect. But it’s the best we have for now. And the trend currently is only getting worse.
Pirating doesn’t solve it, but It fixes the problem at hand for now. The next thing would be sth. Like the internet archive to legally archive it when ubisoft decides to delete it from their servers.

There is a youtube video about how even with the “best” anti cheat valorant has a huge cheating community. They are using ardruinos and secondary pcs to ai recognise the other players and simulate a mouse input via usb. (this is the high end cheating with a high cost) and even simple anti recoil scripts are possible without extra hardware.
There is exactly one arm like “pc” out there that isn’t using arm but an open source processor. And it can run almost anything an arm pc can.
Also my RaspberryPi is a pc in my opinion.
Darleks are more human than you think.
StackOverflow!
How do I fix this?
Yeah I have the gui install. Stable as fuck
Why would you update grub?
Also I am not sure if I am even using grub. Does systemd have a bootloader?
Normal people don’t change their bootloader that often.
Use glorious nixos. Never fear anything breaking. And even if you manage to do so just roll back in the boot menu or terminal.
Lol.
None of the negatives that this troll article name are actual negatives that normal humans have.
Or learn a whole new system and try nixos
WARNING: you probably should try it out in a virtual machine first.
Non disruptive ads were meant to advertise.
Slightly annoying ads were meant to be seen more, since people just ignored banners by default.
Hidden ads (like an ad in an article which you really could tell it was an ad) were meant to increase the image of a company.
Disruptive ads like in YouTube or Spotify aren’t meant for advertising. They don’t really care about the advertising money, they want to force you to buy premium. The more annoying the ad is the higher the chances you pay 20€ a month for them to go away.
Well documentation is still not great. But I can deal with it.
The first step is to really understand how nix works and how nix-shell -p works.
Then probably know that autoPatchelfHook exists
And sth. You have to watch out for if you install sth. With a daemon or a service you need to enable it additionally to the installation.
So for example for open-iscsi you need to enable the service.open-iscsi = enable so it can work.
Flakes are still a nogo for me. I don’t understand them and I don’t want to deal with them until I get the rest into my head.
Where are my ads? /s
Only if you managed to set up steam and stuff all by yourself!
The thing is. Once smb. Figured it out and shares his config files everybody can just paste it into their nixos.
So if enough nerds use the os it will be the future for sure.
There is almost no “it doesn’t work on my system”
