I mean this is exactly why GDPR and legislation that dictates users own their data is so important.

This is not a Reddit thing this is just double standards…
It outsources the blame and hides the connection from those who lack critical thinking.
All liberal capitalists want a full on chain of commands and dictator level control over their domain employees. The only difference is that they want “market forces” to force people to work for them instead of violence.
That’s not true, there is a third state:
“I don’t care anymore, I’ll drive Uber if it comes to that”.
He is Jeff Tiedrich
Internet points.
That’s fine, I’ll just get better at sailing.
Piracy is the only way, clearly capitalism doesn’t give and inch.
Ahhhh, so my ps5 is the most superior PlayStation still, good to know.
No, he just gave up.
Me on the other hand had an LG android for 3 years. I thought it was a good phone but it wasn’t fully there yet. I bought a galaxy S5 thinking it would be a better experience. Couldn’t believe how slow a brand new phone could be. I haven’t tried another android yet.
Yeah it was on the cheaper side, my brother would argue that if they put their name on it, it shouldn’t be shit (I kind of agree).
I had an iPhone a few years ago and hated it most of the time
Yeah that’s fine, and there is nothing wrong with that, people should be able to use what they prefer for whatever reason. Others don’t think so as evident by the downvotes of me saying what my experience was like and what I prefer.
Nothing, he had an iPhone before, tried the Sony phone, could not believe how laggy and buggy using it was, went back to an iPhone in less than a week.
Some people just don’t enjoy the experience of Android, I tried, really, really tried but also couldn’t (had one for 3 years).
And I’m sure people would disagree.
My brother got a Sony phone, he had to stop using it within the week given how cheap and laggy it was.
For current Americans, future Americans, current humans or future humans?
I used to pirate because when I started gaming, I was poor.
I could afford a game or two, but I was smart enough to know getting a modded ps2 would mean that my money would go much much further and thereby maximize my gaming experience. My gaming budget was the same, but I wanted my money to go to hardware.
Now I’m an adult, work as a software dev and the price isn’t a problem. But now I pirate because as a dev I know, all the hard workers are paid salary/hourly before the game releases, and if it’s a AAA game, all the money goes to investors.
Solution? Being a patient gamer and paying for indie games here and there :D
And I thought social media was the worse things we did to kids…
Huh, I wonder how enshitified it has to get before I stop seeing discord on FOSS projects.
It begins lol.
Da fuck is your resolution?
What pissed me off is that when I was in university, I spoke with a career coach and I mentioned I wanted to make a website for my portfolio, and he just said why don’t you use LinkedIn. I explained him why it’s bad to use a proprietary tool, he just didn’t get it.
Man, so many times I want to go back in time and punch him in the face (not really, but I should have reacted more harshly back then and never took his advice).
