I believe it’s on earth, yes.
I believe it’s on earth, yes.
I was shopping for parts for a Halloween costume at the beginning of the month. Christmas music was playing in the store.
“Yes.” “Ah, shit, well I’ll let you get back to it.” “No, I’m awake now. What’s going on?”
Every time. If someone wakes me up they may need to talk and I’m always about that.
Just want to weigh in on Resolve. I was able to get the free version running on Mint, but the free version can’t do H.264. I then bought Resolve Studio, but activating the license did not work so I ended up on Windows for video editing.
I also had to switch back to Windows for Affinity, as I have been using Photoshop for years and I have yet to find another piece of software (excluding Affinity) I can move at speed in.
Once I get the content creation off Windows, I can probably leave it behind for good.
Just don’t.
Actually, I think that one at least has some history to it.
The disk drive was one of the first ways to store information between computer sessions as the first computers didn’t have built in storage. You would create a program, run it, and then when you shut the computer off it was gone. Since the disk drive was used to store programs for later, or “save” them, the icon was born from the physical object.
Sharing, conversely, doesn’t really have a real world example to base the icon on. Maybe two hands exchanging things? Perhaps two arrows to illustrate the ability for things to go both ways? Maybe a set of interconnected dots to show the connection between things? Any of them could work, so the iconography is less clear.
Unironically, isn’t that exactly how property taxes work on land and housing?
I’ve seen a lot of rulers that actually don’t have a mark at 0 and instead go right to the edge as 0. Typically they are worn down, being made of wood, so the accuracy of the first inch is dubious. To ensure the distance is correct, sliding the ruler down one unit is a good idea. So, my ruler starts at 0 but my measurements start at 1.
But people always judge them as slow because they only see them on land. Sometimes you just gotta find your place in the world to really excel.
No, things aren’t alright. Just existing costs too much because we live in a system I feel we have no power to change. I’m desperate, but my efforts never seem to amount to anything. I’m constantly struggling to reassure myself that there is light at the end of the tunnel because right now I can’t see any. My wildest dreams fled long ago and even my humblest hopes are packing to leave. So, no, everything is not alright.
But enough about me, how are you?
Google is an advertisement company that has novel ways of delivering ads to consumers. Any service you have is a byproduct of their goals to deliver more ads.
This just demonstrates the screw-in style is garage. Use one of the other, vastly better options.
I believe a fallback VPN would allow for a secondary connection in the event the primary goes down. If you have the networking configured to only route over the VPN and the connection goes down that network will not be able to route traffic until the connection is reestablished.
You’ll want to search online for a USB hub and find one in your price range with the features you want. I use Newegg for that sort of thing, and I like the Orico brand for it. I don’t have a specific recommendation because I don’t think there is much benefit from one to another.
I will also say that most wireless peripherals are USB 2.0 speeds, so a 3.0 hub would not provide much benefit to them. That said, having more bus speed available should allow for more devices on the hub without throttling each other.
The thing I find more important is an external power source if you’re connecting many devices. I run my mouse, keyboard, webcam, microphone, Bluetooth adapter, controller dongle, and streamdeck all through a hub mounted under the desk.
I have a character idea for a cleric that idolizes the god of pain.
They focus almost entirely on healing because you can’t keep suffering if you’re dead, if you’re alive you can grow stronger, and therefore, in their own twisted mind, if you’re suffering you’re growing stronger.
They don’t heal people right away unless not doing so would cause them to die and end their suffering. Instead, if the battle is over, they pull out a chart and start asking about how painful the wound is. This can be excruciating for the one who has to sit there and answer questions until they get healed.
The other portion of their build would focus on fighting the undead because they are abominations who cannot feel pain and cannot grow stronger because of it
The god goes along with it because their normal clerics may be into torture, which is great for pain, but they tend to get hunted down because of their extreme methods. This cleric causes pain indirectly by being surrounded by a bunch of murderhobos.
Usually age has the opposite effect, but I hear they make pills for that.
See, now I’m interested!
But then how will they upcharge you for additional storage or push you to their monthly cloud storage solution?
Mate, I’ve had users who were sharing an account that only some of them had MFA prompts for. They didn’t bother checking who had initiated the prompt, they just approved it because it was easier. And that was while they were fully awake and thinking…
The health data could be used against you in court.
