Doubt it’s a fully handheld console. Maybe something similar to the PS5 controller with the screen in the middle they released last year?

Looking forward to this. I don’t think ragnarok is as good as 2018 but the gameplay in this is good and looking forward to any more story/lore updates in this universe. Especially anything related to Greek mythology!
Replaying FF7 Remake. Beat it about 2 years ago but want to play it again before Rebirth comes out. Might also try hard mode this time.
My GF and I are also playing Sackboys big adventure whenever we both have some spare time. I’m really enjoying it and playing with her makes the game 10x better. Strongly recommend as a couch co-op game.
I tried playing Alan Wane remastered recently but couldn’t get into it. I felt like the story and gameplay didn’t mix well together. Got it for free on EGS though so I’m glad it cost me nothing to try it out at least!
I’m not really a fan of what’s being done with LOTR now. I think we’ll keep seeing more games set in this universe since Christopher Tolkien has passed away. I’m sure some will be good but based off Gollum we’re also going to get absolutely terrible things that are just a quick cash grab with the LOTR name attached.
Not sure how successful that would be. I don’t think most people would want an Atreus only game. The character just isn’t that interesting without Kratos.
Also personally I’m not a big fan of the direction Ragnarok went. Felt like a rushed Marvel movie compared to the more serious tone of 2018
I’d be interested in reading that. Do you have a link to the article?
I would say 99.9% of people are still on Reddit. I mainly use Lemmy to get the bigger news stuff and the gaming community is pretty active here too. Also I use Lemmy on mobile only really since the Reddit app is still terrible.
If I want to read about one of my other interests I’ll go to the specific subreddit on my desktop browser and use old Reddit but with no account since I deleted mine a few months ago. Sometimes I’ll post or comment on one of those smaller communities here but I don’t want to be someone who posts tons of things to a community. Too much work for me.
Hopefully the user base and engagement will grow over the next few years. Welcome to being an early adopter!
And I was just about to buy 13 sentinels. Nice!
It’s good and bad. I miss most of the niche communities that I frequented on Reddit but on the other side I am commenting and interacting on Lemmy much more than reddit. It feels good to have some discussion. Hopefully the niche communities I miss will grow in time. Another good thing is that since Lemmy is much smaller than Reddit I’ll run out of new content quickly and go do something else instead. So now I’m not mindlessly scrolling for ages. I am noticing that since this is such a small community with a very specific group of people that use it (left leaning/tech) that it generally has much less diverse content and memes compared to Reddit. This matters more on Lemmy since most of the content is focused on broad appealing things compared to Reddit which had bigger niche communities.
I’m curious, how do people feel about these remakes replacing the old games? I for example have only played RE 1 HD Remake and RE 2 Remake and most likely will never play the originals. As someone who enjoyed the games but isn’t in love with the series do you think this is ok? That these games are basically replacing the old ones?
Man, I really need to play this game at some point
Similarly Blind Guardian’s cover of Mr Sandman
