This is exactly me. For a server it’s Linux but for everyday use/work a MacBook Pro is great. It just works. It’s great as you can fire up the command line to manage Linux servers easily. That’s how I admin my Lemmy Ansible install.
For gaming I use Windows. It’s all about the best tool for the job.
Each instance stores post thumbnails locally even if the post was on another server. It actually takes up quite a bit of hdd space.
I’m more talking global purchases. Just the email will probs be ok but if you purchase using that email and a vpn it raises flags.

I’ll be honest, when it comes to online purchases you may find that a protonmail email will require extra processing/fraud checking due to the amount of fraudsters that use it. Combine that with a vpn and it will just be a pain here and there with online purchases like additional ID verification/delayed orders etc…
Typing in maps addresses that are too complex for the voice recognition to understand.
You should still be able to do that on the car touchscreen just like the old Tom Tom etc…
They also forget that sometimes there is a passenger wanting to do this, it’s not always just the driver in the car.
