  • Every country has a different way of securing cards, and north america sucks at it.

Depending on the payment processor, here in Canada you need my card number, as well as one or two of the following: PIN, Postal Code, CVV/CVC, a voice changer and my mother’s maiden name, etc to do a transaction without my physical card.

With my physical card you don’t even need that for $2-300 purchases (depending on retailer), or more if the retailer hasn’t blocked swiping/the thief has access to a swiping card reader.

  • Just a heads up for screenshotting webtoons; you can do it if you load it up in your browser instead.

That being said, for ongoing series, I use the Mihon/tachiyomi webtoons extension, and if I can’t read a series because its locked the mangasee extension rehosts everything the moment it is free (and usually the last few chapters are free for at least a little bit before their shit paywall goes up).

My biggest issue with webtoons is that basically no translation group will touch a series hosted there, and that webtoons doesn’t hire skilled translators/typesetters, so it always feels like I am reading a fan translation.

  • Isn’t this the guy who married an old woman in part because she hated her family and wanted them to get nothing?

I mean, they apparently had a very wholesome and good relationship, but it was definitely a relationship founded in part of spite on her end.

The relationship saved his life though. She took him off the streets, gave him a loving home, helped him enjoy life again, and then passed on after giving him everything in her will.

  • Uhm, no? That’s quite a leap you made there.

For a normal human with no health problems affecting their oil production/smell, if you aren’t using shampoo/conditioner to constantly strip the oils from your hair, you very quickly stop overproducing oil.

Bedsheets and pillows should still be washed regularly, since they definitely get covered in excess skin oils/grime/etc.

But as long as you are caring for your hair in other ways like brushing daily and keeping it away from food/grease/mud/etc, using soap isn’t necessary unless you actually soil it - rinsing is enough to get rid of sweat buildup.

Obviously, if you are working something like a trade job, its not possible to avoid debris, grime and other things and you need to wash your hair more, but an office job? Retail? Just brush and rinse regularly, and your hair will smell and look just fine.
