Shoutout to all the rad women on bikes.
And patreon/liberapay for creators and journalists I enjoy.
If you only read the headline then perhaps. Yet you’re still responding with the same condescending attitude. Don’t be so toxic.
I’m surprised by this decision, since Ubuntu’s strength is stability and by extension, friendliness to new users. Imo, a better move would be to ship a separate “unstable” release with non-LTS kernels.
Why are you being so condescending?
Surely it will work this time.
Thanks for the link! These are fun.
We don’t have to support any of them. That’s a false dichotomy.
It sucks but what else was he supposed to do? He had no passport and if he got extradited to the USA then he’d spend years of a life sentence in solitary confinement at a CMU prison or worse. Obligatory fuck Putin and his war on Ukraine.
It just takes a while!
That’s donating to your Lemmy server, not the development of Lemmy itself. Which is totally cool and I commend you for it.
Open Collective allows one time donations.
You can also make a donation on Liberapay and then it’s very easy to cancel it after the first payment so it doesn’t recur.
Hey, if you can’t swing it right now, that’s totally OK. The beauty of FOSS is how accessible it is.
I just took it from the stats on join-lemmy.org. I’m not sure how it’s determined.
Uninstalled already. It was pushy about asking for my church address so they could contact them to promote the app.
Literal names and addresses. Unbelievable.
People smugly say that for every petition. There’s no benefit in defeatism.
