Glad to hear it.
Glad to hear it.
I’m sure most distros don’t have sounds on by default and whatever sounds there are can easily be disabled.
Try Linux Mint. It’s a very solid starting point for beginners.
I’ve been using Startpage for a few years. Uses Google and Bing as sources I think, but it’s been usable for my simple use cases.
Mostly my reasons for avoiding Fedora as well. But if someone else ends up on Linux due to Fedora then it’s still better than Windows.
I might not like it but it might, sadly, be perfect for someone else.
I’m not a fan of Fedora either, but it’s still linux. Always better than Windows, unless you have some very serious reason for disliking it that much.
I’d honestly be curious to see how that plays out. Every creator hosts their own content while strengthening and spreading the Peertube network.
I feel like that would quickly solidify it as a viable alternative.
I will pirate anything from them that looks even remotely interesting. But I’ve never given them a cent and I sure as hell never will.
Sounds pretty nice. Hope it’s as enjoyable as it looks.
I know it’s completely irrelevant here, but what keyboard is that in the background? The keycaps look really nice.
Linux Mint has already been suggested. I recommend the XFCE edition and adding the Chicago95 theme for a pretty close Windows95/98 look. That should be a reasonable starting point.
I was thinking something similar, but AMD being a company, this is likely just cheaper and easier.
I’m guessing a sticker is easier and cheaper than printing a special box.
Fair enough. Just thought to mention it since they mentioned Zen being more private.
If you’re a LibreWolf user, then Mull might be up your alley to replace Fennec.
If you’re using DeArrow, those might be community titles. It happens sometimes, but usually gets fixed eventually.
I’m pretty sure Adguard is more than just a browser extension. They have an app for many different OSs, which I think makes setting up their DNS ad blocking on your devices easier and simpler. There’s also Adguard Home, which is similar to pi-hole, if you want to self host a DNS ad blocker.
They also offer a VPN.
So you aren’t paying just for a browser extension necessarily.
