  • Well you already expressed how to solve it. Issue is we have to think of a strong bus service and train service as a proper service rather than a for profit business. We can do it just we won’t.

Montana is around 147k square miles large it costs $1-2 million per track. We could cover every square mile of Montana for $147 billion which is half of the aid we have sent to Israel since it’s existence or 1/10 of our military budget. For $10 billion you can have train tracks every 15 square miles. For perspective there is 73k miles of public road in Montana supposedly.

If we brought all our troops back to the USA and used them as manpower and spent our military budget on infrastructure we could have 7 million miles of track laid in the last 10 years. For perspective we have 4 million miles of road in usa by quick glance.

  • Why?

Hear me out. If a $50k wages is $50k 10 years from now and all things stay the same why is that a problem? People at that wage can pay for a certain lifestyle at that wage forever.

Hear me out if all companies have a profit? Why have more profit next year? You can still grow you have profit.

Even loans still work as loans have profit built into them so what is the problem with stagnation

  • At the end of the day I think the answer is less availability and more local production is the way to go. Heavy sustainable packaging uses to much fuel. So it is better if we can grow and produce locally so we can theny recycle locally back to the packers and producers.

We can grow anything indoors now. We can bottle anything locally. The larger issue is electronics. Which can use sustainable materials.

I wish we could tax corporations for trash produced. Have the dump sort trash by company and offer them to recycle and charge them to recycle or trash the items.

There is a real conversation that needs to be had about how do we drive the democrats left. Biden is not getting my vote. But I live in Delaware where he has no chance of losing*. I will vote green party.

The democrats are courting Republicans and old republican platforms. Joe Biden sounds like George Bush. I didn’t hear or remember a single progressive thing in his state of the union but I heard issues driven by republican wants and unions sort of. I hear support but I don’t see what Biden is doing. We have Supreme Court cases in line to strip the national labor board and almost all cabinet departments from governing yet I haven’t heard a peep from the administration

    Typo*

  • I was upset at our military funding under Obama and Trump also. I Couldn’t do anything about Bush, Clinton and half of Obama since they don’t let children vote even though I had to be an adult for 2 years under Obama’s reign with no representation. 80% of America’s military budget could be cut if not more. I have been against Israel funding since 2008 despite being 16. I have been against the military industrial complex since then too.

Previous presidents hold no power right now. I have no choice but to vote democratic if I don’t want people to lose rights in my state. I am lucky I can vote 3rd party against Biden and not worry that Trump will win my state. So I can at least protest vote a little bit.
