Wait for a black Friday deal. I traded in my 4a previously and upgraded to a 7a for $150

I don’t know if it’s drugs you’re on or drugs you need to be on but please take a step back and get help my dude. These are not the words of a well adjusted person.
Panic, mostly.
WTF are you guys doing with your PCs??? I’ve been running Mint for over a year now and the only time I’ve used the terminal was to open a port for Chromecast. I browse, I game, I watch shows, etc. maybe I’m just really lucky, idk, it’s been nothing but smooth sailing.
If it’s an actual work truck, that backseat is filled with tools that you can’t have out on the bed. I do doubt it’s a work truck though.
This makes me feel better. I had the entire intention to distro hop around but mint was the first one and it just worked lol
Beginners would have a better time with Mint
If you have to ask, no
Mint sets up the entire dual boot and partitioning during the install. You just choose how much space for Mint. Very easy and intuitive.
For someone to do a front flip and catch it
Second this. I only still have Windows on dual boot because of game pass and I need office for work. Mint just works.
Run while you can. I like to think I am a normal person. But there are so many high performing flashlights and batteries for certain situations that I now have a set of 7 flashlights. They are part of my everyday carry. I have a laser beam flashlight that can reach a nearby island.
It’s pretty easy, I installed Mint on my laptop and the installer took care of the partition and everything. On my desktop, I just installed an m.2 expansion slot.
Because it’s extremely easy to look up, it’s a very popular story right now.
I was in the same boat but Linux Mint just literally worked. Easiest transition ever. I keep my Windows dual boot because I need MS Office for work but I’m in mint 95% of the time with no tinkering.
Glad it worked well for you. Didn’t work well for me with my 2070 super. Was immediately broken and refused to acknowledge my second monitor. Linux Mint worked perfectly, so I just want to throw that out there for anyone with the same gpu
Linux Mint is so easy of a transition from Windows that I never tried anything else. As cliche as it is, “it just works”. Most I had to do was copy and paste a terminal line to open a port for Chromecast.
