New information has been released by St. Joseph County Police's legal advisor, just days after the Mishawaka Mayor's son was released from jail, after being acc

22-year-old Joseph Wood was arrested after a crash in the 900 block of Frances Street in South Bend, around 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Police said the vehicle crashed and landed on its side, hitting two parked cars, and causing power outages to about 30 homes.

There’s a court rule that allowed Joseph Wood to be released early Sunday morning since he doesn’t have a prior OWI conviction.
