At the time I knew what the fediverse was and I was using Mastodon quite consistently, and I was waiting for a federated alternative to reddit. Raddle at the time was already a thing, but federation was not on their roadmap.
Instance admins can change literally any of that information in the database. There’s a user whose account info says she’s been on lemmy for a century.

There’s nothing to stop them changing the creation date though
Just a couple months - around July 2023. No point in being on Reddit anymore since I got a sitewide ban for not being an Andrew tate fan.
