Also if you don’t know whether eggs are bad or not, see if they float. If they float, there’s sulphur gas in them and they’re no good anymore. If they sink though, even if they sort of bob upwards from the bottom but still are at the bottom, they’re good.
I just spray paint mine. Last for months.
