Tensions have steadily risen inside the organization over perhaps the NBA's most important question: How do the Nuggets maximize what's left of Jokic's prime?
Given the ownership doesn’t like to spend a ton I think Booth was kind of forced to go young given that restriction.
Still think KCP was worth the 2nd apron tho because Braun could help the bench then and it keeps the starting 5 that won the title. It’s not like they have a lot of options for an upgrade either with that 7 year out pick they have available now that they’re under it except maybe they can use Nnaji stupid contact with it at the deadline.

maybe but if that is the case they should have negotiated harder with MPJ and Murray. Then they would have had more money to work with for KCP or whoever else. Also Saric for $5m is a bit much.
Oh I agree, not saying Booth is without fault by any means.
The saric deal is not looking good so far.
I agree that they should’ve pushed a bit more on the MPJ deal, while it wasn’t a true max since a lot of it was incentives based I feel like the market wasn’t huge back then given his back injuries they could’ve squeezed some more. He hasn’t made the improvements he needed to be worth it so I honestly think he’s the most likely to get moved if they do something since Murray at least has had the highs and has great chemistry with Jokic.
Thinking the same for KCP. He’s responsible for a lot of the clutch momentum changes with the defensive dirty work he puts in and his shooting. His loss is still felt on the Lakers and Denver gonna experience the same.
A real 3&D player with a lil extra in the bag which is a must for championship teams
