Yup, that’s what I do too. Mine are mounted to /media/user/ by default.
According to Wikipedia, Deus Ex MD, Hitman, Life is Strange 1&2, and the new Tomb Raider trilogy all have native Linux ports.
That’s pretty cool. Square Enix is one of the better AAA-publishers when it comes to Linux support, they had native ports for Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, Hitman and a bunch more.
I’ve tried pretty much every app there is and ended up with Thunder. It’s got a huge amount of features and polish, a clean UI and gets regular updates. The only issue is that I don’t see the number of upvotes on posts since my home instance upgraded Lemmy, though that will probably get fixed soon.
If the CEO of Lyft got repeated warnings that this very thing was happening and ignored them willfully, then yes. In the end he has nobody to blame but himself. It’s no different from hosting a file sharing platform without ever vetting the content and wondering why the cops show up one day. The stupidity of going to France knowing that you’re a wanted man in a number of countries is just the cherry on top.
This is more like arresting the getaway driver, not the car manufacturer.
Exactly. Telegram has a ton of public channels full of content that is illegal in most EU countries and refuses to comply with any local laws on things like hate speech. They know perfectly well what their platform is used for, they just don’t care. It would be a wildly different case if everything were E2E encrypted by default.
Not really comparable because the illegal content is hosted and distributed through his servers. Which is why most sites are moderated to a degree. This dude basically said “fuck off” whenever takedowns were issued. It’s hardly a surprise that he’s been arrested.
Not much as the sites talk to eachother. In this case .world is just where your account is located and where you sign in. You can use it to post to communities from other sites as well.
This is a good thing for the Fediverse.
the problem can be fixed with an over-the-air software patch
I was about to make a bad joke about Tesla trying to fix a mechanical issue with a software patch but apparently Elon beat me to the punchline.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen this meme template being used correctly
